Estate Planning Documents

Senior couple meeting real estate agent at home. Old husband and wife with financial advisor for investment opportunities. Happy elderly man and woman listening to various investment plans for their retirement.

Probate can cost thousands of dollars and be time consuming and inconvenient if you or a loved one dies with out proper planning.

Having a Power of Attorney in place for Financial matters or Healthcare choices is important as you age gracefully.

We guide you in getting your estate plan done by partnering with experienced attorneys and Legal Plans. This gives you a very affordable way to take care of your important estate planning documents like your Will, Trust and Power of Attorney.

Powers of Attorney

What is a Power of Attorney?

A Power of Attorney gives someone authority to act on your behalf on specified legal or healthcare matters. It only remains in effect until you change it or pass away.

Living Trusts

Happy senior couple having a meeting with real estate agent.

Do You Need a Living Trust?

If you own property, like a home, that may be subject to Probate and court fees and delays.

A Living Trust provides a way to possibly avoid Probate and allow the transfer of your assets to your beneficiaries or heirs.

Wills

Why have a Will?

A Will instructs executors and courts what you want to happen to your assets. If you die without a will, the state law decides for you.

A Will may not avoid probate. A Living Trust usually has a special Pour-over Will included.

HOW TO GET YOUR LEGAL DOCUMENTS

attorney

Contact a Local Attorney

We have developed relationships with local, qualified attorneys that can help. This is especially important when you are needing a specialized trust or help administering an estate for someone who has passed away.

diy

Do it Yourself

While DIY may save you some money in the short run, you might not be around to correct any mistakes or unintended consequences. Due to the importance and complexity of legal documents, we don’t recommend this method.
